The hotel was situated quite far from the nearby village, with a 7 km drive on a bumpy road. the isolation made it a great spot for a peaceful getaway in the middle of nature. the supermarket prices might have been a bit high, but the private beach was a great perk. the room was nice, but the bathroom was small. the breakfast never made it to our table, but the restaurant dinners were exceptional with lots of variety.
We noticed the staff's attitude was somewhat lacking in helpfulness.

We really enjoyed our stay at ripe alte: beautiful place, far away, quiet, beautiful beaches, hiking. We hiked around, and went to the beach to cool down with a swim! The hotel has 3 private beach (you can take your pivate stuff and leave it at the beach). The national park was very beautiful, you can see mountain goats. If you love nature you will love this hotel!
The way to the hotel was shocking, because the road was in a very bad condition. We need ca. 10 minutes from the nearest city (Capoliveri), but the view was breathtaking! We came perfectly at sunset (we saw the sun went down to the sea). There were many flies at the apartment, but we killed them all =) .. but this hotel is the only hotel in the middle of the national park , I think its normal to have living thing beside you.

It's remote feature made it perfect our get-away vacation. We enjoyed the variety of food, scenes, hospitality, convenience, etc. We stayed at one of the apartments which was more than enough space for my girlfriend and I, including a kitchen where we cooked breakfasts. We had a little terrace which overlooked a composition of sloping vineyard hills dropping down to the coast. The ocean view and Italian mainland beyond was absolutely unbeatable. The resort comes with a little market which has most of the things you'll need should you might need. The beaches were definitely comparable if not better than most of the ones we saw and visited along our island tour. Capoliveri is the closest town by which was by far, our favorite one.
The resort is within an established National Park which means the only access roads are unpaved. Though in good conditions, you'll need a car to get there. We rented a car which worked out perfectly. We'd recommend the same.

The rooms are well-equipped with all the basic amenities you need. Additionally, the breakfast served here is delicious and satisfying.
The only area that could be improved is the comfort of the beds.

Amazing location with beautiful sea views and wonderful beaches. the hotel offers splendid walking and mountain biking paths, 8 tennis courts, and excellent yoga. the staff is very accommodating and helpful, especially the receptionist and sommelier. the restaurant is top, notch, with an inventive menu boasting lots of variety. the vine tasting is a must, try for anyone who is interested in the local wine.
The bed and the pillows are not cozy and made it hard to sleep. No umbrellas or beds at the beach included as listed.

The private beach was a real treat, and the isolated location was perfect for a relaxed holiday. The staff was generally helpful and the accommodation itself, while compact, had some great facilities for a cozy stay.
The rude attitude of staff tarnished the holiday experience and the uncleanliness of the room was quite unpleasant. The facility could also improve, given the poor quality of the bed and bathroom.
